WHAT MAKES YOU UNIQUE?
My style has a few directions....One is heavily influenced by the golden era and is sample based and boom bap vibe. My other main style is a dark and space like vibe using original instrumentation...This style has worked in a few genres including Reggae/HipHop. I like to balance between the two styles and mix up the methodology for both as much as possible. I go through phases too and might go weeks with out sampling and then one day make like 10 beats in a day using samples. I try to only sample stuff that really resonates with me when I do.
WHO ARE YOUR FAVORITES + INFLUENCES?
The first music I can remember hearing was Too Short and 2 Live Crew. I used to get put on the spot at house parties as a 4-5 year old kid reciting too short lines word for word haha. Bob Marley was another huge influence for me growing up. I had a short rock phase in middle school but other than that used to listen to Hip Hop almost exclusively. My folks always introduced me to a variety of music as a kid too but it wasn't until I started collecting records where my true vast and ecclectic influences came into play. I love Jazz and Reggae most after HipHop. I also love finding obscure stuff to sample so I am really open minded musically and can generally find something to like or study with any piece of music. My engineering background plays a part in that as well. If I don't particularly like a song I still enjoy studying the sonics of the recording.

I try to uplift people and be positive. I hope I inspire others....I help those less fortunate as much as I can, too. I've also given back to youth through several programs and services.
