WHAT MAKES YOU UNIQUE?
I don’t feel I’ve locked myself into any one particular style. The mood I’m in, the feeling that whatever song or LP I’m listening to evokes, and however I can best utilize the different mediums I have at my disposal shape the style for the song I’m working on. Other factors that dictate my style depend on what the song is for, if it’s for an emcee, a remix, an instrumental or if I’m working with a singer song writer, all of those influence my style as well.
HOW WOULD YOU DESCRIBE WHAT YOU DO?
1. It’s goes best with a strong cup of coffee.
2. My music comes from a myriad of different emotions which is why sometimes there is not a commonality from one song to another.
3. My music tells my story, whether it’s something in the moment or stems from childhood to something that may have happened a month ago.
WHAT ARE YOU CURRENTLY WORRIED ABOUT?
Not being good enough, not a good enough husband, grandson, nephew, friend and musician / producer. I guess that’s also what makes me want to be better each day I’m gifted breath.
WHAT "OLD PERSON" THINGS DO YOU DO?
I have a pretty strong dad joke game.
WHAT WERE YOU LIKE AS A KID?
Until I was 8, I was a pretty happy go lucky kid. When my mom passed, I became a terror. Took many years to grow out of that phase. When I started creating music I found an outlet for that pain.
WHAT'S THE BEST PART OF 2020 SO FAR?
I got married to an incredibly beautiful, funny and talented woman in February.
WHAT DO YOU DO TO MAKE THE WORLD A BETTER PLACE?
I try not to be an asshole but at times fail miserably.
