For Traverse we are creating a powerful and creative A.I. in which can be smart and "dumb" for the player. There are hundreds of enemies roaming in the planet Gloria, and each one of them is assigned automatic statistics like hunger, thirst and anger. Not every A.I. in the Gloria planet is going to be hostile towards the player. Every A.I. creature in the game has a number of statistics assigned to them from a variety of collection that are pre-programmed. Those statistics will determine the animals hunger, fear and determine if the animal is friendly or a foe. This will work mostly with animals in the planet but with very few "dumb" aliens.
There will be different systems for the wildlife, invading enemy and player so they can interact with each other and make planet Gloria to as unique and original as possible. There will be no scripted sequences between events, just the A.I. working with each other like in the real life.
