Dr. Andréane “Andie” Fagala is a native French Canadian but considers herself a Texan at heart. She attended Texas A&M University and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Biomedical Engineering. After graduation, she continued her studies at the University of Houston, where she completed her Doctorate of Optometry with Honors. She is the Youth Chair for the Prestonwood Rotary Club and past Lions Club president. She is a member of the Dallas Country Optometric Society, Texas Optometric Association, and American Optometric Association. She has proudly served the greater Richardson and North Dallas community for over a decade and enjoys spending her free time with her husband Ryan and daughters Audrey and Ava. Dr. Fagala has a passion for improving her patients’ lives. She understands that each unique patient encounter presents an opportunity for addressing various visual and lifestyle demands. She feels it is a privilege to connect with individuals of all ages and to offer her expertise based on patient needs. Her special interests include myopia management, pediatric optometry, glaucoma management, and specialty contact lenses. She is a licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and an Optometric Glaucoma Specialist. She is fluent in French and conversational in Spanish.
