Ephraim Perfect, is a British Wildlife Photographer based in North London.
With the foundation of an interest in wildlife early on, photography was quick to follow. Initially starting with a small budget camcorder, his interest was filming the wildlife he saw in order to document it. However, he was soon pulled into the daunting world of photography one Christmas when he received his first DSLR along with a Tamron 300mm lens. The kit was nothing to brag about, but firmly planted the seed of this passion.
As his interest in wildlife increased so did his interest in photography. He quickly progressed through the fundamental stages at which point he began the study of photography at an academic level. He studied both GCSE and A-level photography before taking up a position on the remote island of Bardsey, located 2 miles off the North coast of Wales. Though work was strenuous, the location and nature of the job allowed him to pursue his interest yet further allowing him to progress to the stage at which he is now.
Ephraim now uses a Nikon D500, Nikon D300s, Nikkor 200-500mm f/5.6, Sigma 105mm f/2.8 and Sigma 17-55mm f/2.8.
