Fairview Texas is located in Collin County, Texas. It is a small community within the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex. As of today's census, the community is only home to about 8,949. The last estimated population for the community in 2021 was 9,082. The town is strategically located on I-35E, which runs through the middle of the city. The city is bordered by Plano, including the northern part of Fort Worth. Fairview itself sits south of downtown Dallas and west of the Dallas North Toll Road. Businesses are centered along North Toll Road. Fairview Texas has plenty of opportunities for visitors to take advantage of their offerings. It is within a short drive of Houston, and several of its neighboring towns have all the amenities necessary to make a relaxing stay.
The closest hotels are the Holiday Inn Express and the Comfort Inn & Suites, both of which are around two miles from the city center. Shuttles from Austin can be arranged from the Texaco gas station across the street. For those who enjoy shopping, Old Town Fairpark is within a walking distance, and the Dallas Museum of Art is also within walking distance. For those interested in historical architecture, the Dallas Historical Society has numerous brochures, maps, and pictures of buildings that have been featured in the city's history.
