Simplicity is an element that is underestimated in the modern world that we live in. In the busy lives that we lead, we often find that most things are complicated. However, when it comes to great design, it is important to understand the impact that simplicity can have in creating a great experience for the user.

If we have a great product that is functionally perfect, it would not matter if the people who are using it have trouble figuring out how to use it and we will not be able to sell the product. It should almost be a rule of thumb that whatever product or service we create, users should be able to easily navigate the system without extensive instructions. The first part of the picture shows the home screen interface where there is very little text and one can easily understand the options available. The second part of the screen shows what it looks like when the song that is being played is open, providing easily navigable options to adjust volume or to skip to the next track.

The beauty of this app lies in the fact that, just like most of Apple products, it is very simple. Someone who has never used this app before can learn what is going on within seconds. Furthermore, the music albums are designed to be squares which reflect the music albums that we are familiar with in real life, which provides an instant connection.
