A demon is a supernatural being. In most of the cases, it is associated with religion, cultural believes and fiction stories . The demons always perform a specific role in the society. The roles can either be good or evil. It is said that the demons have a great impact and to the society as a whole. The existence of the demons remains an important concept in many modern religions and traditional society. However the demons are still widely feared due to their alleged Power to posses living creatures. It is believed they take control of someone's body. This makes the people to do very extra ordinary things. In the society the demons were categorized with the roles they perform in the society. In most of the cases, the demons are used for different purposes in the society. The different religions believe that demons are of two types. They include the good demons and the evil demons.

For instance some of the demons were used as intermediaries between the living and the dead. The demons were used to deliver the messages to the humans. The demons seems to be so subordinate and related to a specific deity. However they are regarded to be independent from the Devine will. Research shows that the existence of the demons can be related to the event of chaos beyond the real world. Despite this this negative mentality about the demons, there relationship with the human beings has remained interact basing on their context. The demons were highly rampant in Egypt. They were divided into two different categories, each category had a role that it played in the society. One of the categories is the guardian. It is believed that their function is not known to a large number of people. It is said that they are only functional to the people who know the secrets about them. It is also said that the guardian demons protect the underworld. They are believed to be the demons of good intentions to the people.

They don't cause any harm to the people. The second category of the demons is the wanderers, they are believed to be the evil demons. The humans believed that they were associated with the possession, mental illness, death and plague. Their main role is to punish the human beings on earth. However it also believed that the best way to keep them away from the world of humans is through magic. There is a certain type of magic that done on them. The bitter fact is that the demons can never be destroyed. The existence of the demons has been argued by very many different religions. This is because there is no clear and exact information that would prove the existence and the inexistent of the demons. Therefore the knowledge about the demons depend on the belief and research results of the different types of religions and society.
