The ISM, or Independent Study and Mentorship, program is a unique course that gives students the opportunity to explore a career path of their interest. To get accepted into the program, students must complete an detailed application consisting of multiple teacher recommendations, an essay, and an interview.
Throughout the course, students have the opportunity to choose a topic of study, conduct extensive research, gain hands-on experience from a mentor, and develop a final product. The ISM program is extremely beneficial as it allows individuals to discover their passions, explore a topic of interest, gain interpersonal communication skills, and become immersed in unique experiences in a real-world environment.
