Safehus is the simplest house-monitoring device available!

Through a constant control of electricity and temperature at home, you will receive a real-time notification if something is different from the parameters you set.



Safehus is plug-and-play. This means that the only thing you have to do is to connect it to a power supply. The following configuration of Safehus is very simple and is made through this website by filling in a form with your phone number and a few other parameters.


There is a status LED just above the USB connector. When it is ON, your Safehus is fully configured and active!

How safehus is made



The electronic board is the core of Safehus. High temperature range components ensure you the maximum protection and reliability.


Safehus comes with a GSM communication module and a pre-integrated SIM so that it is completely autonomous. An additional backup battery guarantees the functionalities for hours even without electricity.



Design is very important for us. That's why we choose a top-quality natural material like the durmast wood. The panels we use are cut with a laser and each piece is then hand sanded for the last touch.

How the project was born



Safehus was born to my passion. Let me introduce myself. My name is Mattia Marchiori. I studied Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering at the University of Trento, Italy and I have a strong passion for embedded devices like Safehus. That's why I am going to attend a specialised course in Embedded Computing Systems at the NTNU in Trondheim, Norway. At the same time, I love nature and I am very attracted to Scandinavian coutries. When I recently spent some time in Sweden, it was one of the most snowy periods of the last few years and my friend Fred and I had several troubles with a summerhouse due to the low temperature. From this real experience, we came to the idea of Safehus.
