Good morning ladies and gents, some very interesting words found me this morning. It’s Tuesday and the harvest moon is making it’s way around the earth for a 7:30pm tuesday rise in perfect harmony with the sunset.. which combined with the 6:40am wednesday morning set, will make up the 2 shoots for the September “12 moons” episode. It’s one of those morning when everything around me is tangled and not working.. you know, one of those days when everything you touch breaks or falls apart and drops off the table or is lost. Every battery is dead, and it’s overcast and it’s Tuesday!!!! Uggg I decided to sit back with some coffee to read and to reflect before my moon travels, I’ll share something I read:
“It's not from the known, Mizzy, but the unknown, that creativity and inventiveness are born. Turn away from the predictable, cliché, and reliable. Brave the void where the darkness is greatest. Trust the quiet, find the stillness, feel the calm. Then steadily think, speak, and move as if you were led. Behave as if your vision were clear. Anticipate the emotional rush that will come with your triumph. And as if by magic, as you raise your pen to write, you'll find the words have already been summoned, flooded in light that was there all along, in a world that has just as anxiously anticipated your arrival. Just don't let them worship you, Mizzy.”
Look, I don’t write em… I just receive them. It is my doing to unravel the mysteries they contain. I’m a traveler of the unknown, an admirer. I’ve been known to frequent the void. I guess this explains it… it’s nice to get some understanding of it all, especially as the moon sets on my morning routine. Gear is packed and cards at the ready, I seem driven by things I don’t understand yet these words seem to help. To you I would say… venture to the unknown, change your perspective, steer away from the normal routine, do more than brave the darkness of the void… dive into the black… trust the fall and welcome the quiet calm of the scared childlike fear that is present on your cold skin. Move with purpose clutching the line that is profound and strong in your grasp… the line that is steady and right and always there for you…. See it clearly… anticipate the events to come… imagine victory in the face of challenge and unite yourself with the dream you feel so effortlessly. Bask in a smile born from your arrival. Oh yeh.. and don’t forget where you put your car keys… Good luck out there under the harvest moon beams. You got this.
