The first week back from break was surprisingly eventful for me in ISM. This semester in ISM is a new start as we have to start visiting mentors and being our final product. Before break, I was able to contact my mentor, but I hadn’t talked to him since. I wanted to begin my mentor visits with Mr. Zapata, so I called him last week and was able to schedule a day and time to meet him. I have my first official mentor visit this week!
I am super excited and grateful that Mr. Zapata gave me this opportunity, especially with the fourth wave of COVID starting, but he was able to find a way and make room for me to visit him in person at the firm. I have much hope for this semester in ISM as I will be able to mentor Mr. Zapata and hopefully utilize his guidance when beginning my final product.
However, I am not sure what to do for my final product, which is part of my plan and goal this week. When conducting research for my final product, I want to find a major problem present and architecture and work towards a solution for my product. I will also utilize this research and use it as a research assessment to develop a better understanding and analysis of the research I conducted.
