GETTING BACK TO THE GRIND

I was not able to get much work done last week, which means I am going to have to grind this week. Luckily I do not have as many tests or quizzes this week as I did last week, which means I will be able to work on my model more and get back to the grind.

This is my first time building an architectural model as stated in my last blog. I have been doing a lot of research on how to build a model and have watched many videos that gave advice and also showed techniques on how to build. I feel more confident and determined to create my model of the hospital, but once again I do not have high expectations as I do not have all the proper tools and material required because architecture equipment is quite expensive.

However, my mom once wanted to be an architect, so I do have some tools, and I also have her advice and support to get me through this challenge. Even though creating a model will be difficult, I know it is something I am going to enjoy doing as I like to use my hands and art skills.

Besides worrying about my original work, I evaluated my research presentation. While analyzing myself and my speech, I realized that I need to work more on my mannerism by using less filler words. I also need to learn to connect everything together and make it flow better. In the end, I learned from my mistakes and plan on doing better in my next speech.
