INSPIRED BY OTHERS

Before winter break, I was able to review and give feedback on other students’ original work. I was impressed with many of the works I saw as they were very detailed and demonstrated the students’ passions in their field of choice. One of the original works that I saw was a simulation for a mission to mars, which I thought was super cool.

Most of the other students’ works inspired me to come up with a bigger idea for my final product. I have no clue what I want to do for my final product, but after doing and finishing my original work, I have a better understanding and idea on what to expect for my work load in ISM. I am aware that my final product will require more time and work than my original work, so for my final product I will have to better manage my time. I also learned from my original work that I need to be more organized with my ideas and understand my goal. My goal for my original work was not clear, which caused me to be disorganized, so before starting my final product I plan to make a detailed plan of the tasks I will take on to complete my final product.

In terms of doing my final product, I hope to work with my mentor more to raise the bar for myself and take on something more challenging. With my mentor’s guidance, I believe that I can take my ideas to the next level and make a large impact on the world with my ideas. I do not know what I want to do for my final product, but I am planning to do something separate from my original work.
