SNOWED IN!

Despite the fact that it snowed last week, which I am happy for, and school being canceled because of the snow, I was able to get much done in ISM. It was a relaxing week in ISM, but on my own accord, I discovered a possible idea for my final product and bought my display board for the Research Showcase.

I was planning to get the board last Wednesday, but the weather was worse than I anticipated since I was not expecting it to snow until Thursday. Thus, I was not able to buy the board that day. However, I did find during the unintended four day weekend, after the snow melted a bit, to buy the board, and to my luck I bought the board at Hobby Lobby before they ran out. We are supposed to be presenting our boards in ISM this Thursday, which I have not started, so that means I need to begin working on the board. Having the plan for my board will be helpful as I will already have the layout of my board, so all I have to do is cut and paste everything.

In addition, I discovered that for my final product I want to design a concept building that is energy efficient, relies on sustainable technology heavily, and uses renewable material for construction as it will prevent/lessen climate change. The research assessment I did last week helped direct me in this direction for my final product, but my mentor also did suggest I do something related to climate change for my final product since it is a significant problem that architects are trying to combat, which led me to pick the article for my assessment. I plan on remaking my product proposal and sharing it with my mentor this week.
