Well, where to begin…last week was a mess. The showcase was pushed back to this week since it would not be safe for people to drive on the roads.Even though I was excited for the event, I was just as nervous since I did not know what to expect or say to people when they came up to my board. However, once the event started, everything came together. A lot more people came to my board than what I was expecting, but I had a fun time explaining everything I was doing in ISM and with my mentor. I was also able to explain to some of the guests what I planned to do for my final product.
Besides the Research Showcase turning out to be a success, I was able to work towards getting some of the work for my final product done these past few weeks. I began designing my second concept design, but then decided to change it up since a similar design has already been done. I want the school to be unique and original. Thus, I had to come up with a new idea, which was a struggle, but I used my previous idea as inspiration. I am still in the process of completing my second concept design, but I really need to catch up to my calendar, which means this week I plan to complete my second and third concept design and begin my refined drawing of the finalized design.
