I did not get to do much in ISM last week, but I did begin the research for my final product. I did some more research on shipping container architecture and looked at photos for reference and inspiration to use when designing the school I plan to create. I also conducted research on how to make a shipping container home sustainable, which will help decide some of the material and design of the school as I begin designing it.
This week I plan to create my three concept sketches based on the research and inspiration I have already found. The concept sketches will be very basic, and I hope to show them to my mentor this week on Friday since I have a mentor visit this week.
Nevertheless, I am excited about the Research Showcase this week on Wednesday. I finished my display board last week, but I plan on adding some final touches before the big day. I want to make it more interesting so I might add some design elements to make it stimulating and fun. Being able to display the work I have done in ISM is satisfying and meaningful as I will be showing my family and friends all the hard work and challenges I have faced so far this year in ISM.
