How to prepare for a companion photo
STEP # 1: PICK A PHOTOGRAPHER
Obviously, you'll need someone to take your photos. Before booking a photographer, be sure to discuss any privacy concerns with them, and read their contract carefully (if they have one). You want to make sure you have the rights to your photos, especially if you don't show your face. You'll notice that a lot of escorts use the same photographers - that's not necessarily a bad thing. Sometimes everyone uses the same number of photographers because the pictures work. However, I think it's also worth thinking outside the box. Maybe there is a great unaccompanied photographer in your area who takes unique photos that make you stand out from the crowd. The trick is to be unique enough to stand out, while also still capturing the male gaze (* insert the eye roll here *). She's taken great escort art photos before - she was beautiful, shady, and moody. Filming looked like it could be in a fashion magazine. I love the pictures, and so do all of my girlfriends. Unfortunately, the photos were terrible to work on, because they looked like they were in a fashion magazine. The pictures were great but didn't appeal to my ideal client. I know it's tempting to play a role in your fantasies as a model, but be sure to keep your business goals in mind.
STEP # 2: DECIDE ON YOUR STYLING
Once your photographer is booked, take some time to think about what you would like to capture in your photo session. You should think about more than just clothing and location - instead, think about what you want your ideal customer to think and feel when they see your photos. Be sure to discuss this with your photographer - a good photographer will ensure you have the right location and fashion to capture your vision. The style of photography will influence what you wear. Make sure you have a collection of clothes, in case some won't work with the site for the day. And give yourself plenty of time to find the perfect pieces - I got loads of pics where I finished wearing some funky lingerie from a department store because I left the time to find my dream outfit.
STEP # 3: BOOK YOUR GLAM SQUAD
If you show your face, you may want to have your makeup professionally photographed. Even if you don't wear heavy makeup in real life, your face might look dull in pictures if you don't have a lot of makeup on. I don't show my face, but I love professionally styling my hair for the buds so it looks polished. If there is any other beauty maintenance you would like to undertake (for example, teeth whitening, eyebrow waxing, hair colouring, manicure, pedicure, tan sprays, etc.), be sure to book these appointments for a few days before the shoot. This will give you ample time to fix anything if it goes wrong.
STEP # 4: PACK THE NIGHT BEFORE
Don't leave it until the last minute to have the whole thing packed for photography. Pack the evening before the night so you can ensure nothing is forgotten.
You will need:
All your clothes, including shoes and accessories;
Extra stockings, if you plan to wear any (in case your first pair has a break);
Hair and makeup supplies for touches;
A small mirror (especially if the filming location is somewhere without a bathroom);
Scissors (to cut tags off clothes);
Comfortable and loose-fitting clothing to wear while getting glamorous;
A cover-up robe between shots.
STEP # 5: THE DAY OF
