About me

Taylor White

She/Her
UC Santa Cruz Graduate Researcher

My research focuses on pinto abalone (Haliotis kamtschatkana) population dynamics in and around Lingít and Haida land in what is now known as Southeast Alaska. My current research explores how factors like sea otters, sea stars, and human harvest contribute to current and historical shifts in abalone abundance, population size structure, behavior, and habitat use.
