Neuropsychology is the study of brain–behaviour relationships and has traditionally utilised the classical approaches which relate brain damage to patterns of preserved and impaired cognitive functioning. The real challenge of neuropsychology in relation to psychiatry is to understand abnormal behaviour in terms of dysfunctional processing of information. This is more likely to be related to abnormally functioning brain systems than to localised brain damage.
The topics that will be covered are:
-Introduction to Neuropsychology
-Different areas of the brain
-A brief introduction to neurodevelopmental disorders
-Neuroimaging Techniques
Webinar will be conducted by Psychologists at KCCW.
