In making this I was constantly concerned wihh the sordid history of the convent and deliberately tried to push away from that, by highlighting the current. The convent speaks of their 'unexpected curiosities' consistently in their writing, so I attempted to bring this to life through detail photography in an effort to direct attention towards the new inhabitants of the convent.
