"Show Me Your Neon: A Feminist Dialogue," is an exhibit of 23 artists who are sharing their narrative of being a female/woman, what feminism is, or challenges that women face today. Topics like motherhood, consent, race, secual orientation, ethnicity, and equal pay/representation are part of an important discussion in women's equality, globally. Creating images of strong women, images of frustration, and images that confront uncomfortable topics, are catalysts to spark the necessary dialogue to fuel the current #metoo, #shepersisted, #thefutureisfemale revolutions. One of the many challenges women artists face in today's society is fair representation in the art world, and Gallery 1202 is actively combatting that as a female-focused gallery.
