Rescue




What makes Sleeping Fox Farm Thoroughbred Rescue (SFFTR) truly different is that the horses that cross through our gates are desperate. We are they're last hope. We take in the broken, the starved, the ones that no one else wants.


Rehabilitation




At SFFTR we take the broken and we put them back together again. We have healed broken bones and broken souls. We nurse the starvation cases back to health and raise the needed money for bone chips to be removed. We can't save them all but we will give them our all.



retraining




Our retraining program is dictated by our horses. We listen to them and design a training program tailored to each horses strengths, likes and talent. We primarily focus on Three-Day Eventing. What is Eventing you ask? Think of it as a triathelon for horses. Eventing provides our rescues with a strong foundation consisting of Dressage,Stadium Jumping and Cross Country. We've had some horses that preferred Western riding too. Whatever the discipline, a strong foundation is the key to success.

Sanctuary




The ones that can move on to a second care are available for adoption. Those who can not will live out the remainder of their lives here with us as members of our Sanctuary Program.
