The Azores are a small group of islands in the Atlantic Ocean and an autonomous region of Portugal.

This photo series takes place in Terceira and São Miguel and was shot on Kodak Aerochrome infrared film (once used by the US military for vegetation surveys and camouflage detection) without any digital manipulation . The Azores are a popular travel destination for the Portuguese people, and the islands' main attractions are photographed over and over again, day after day, from the same viewpoints with the same cellphones and digital cameras. This series' purpose was to capture the Azores essence in the full light spectrum, the show its nature in a way no one has ever seen before.
