Between Modules 1 and 2 participants will need to prepare:
- A Q&A assignment about principles of mediation, skills and other key issues covered during Module 1.
- A Parenting Plan based on a role play they would have been engaged with These will be assessed by the trainers, who will give feedback to the participants during Module 2. Following the feedback, the participants can resubmit by the end of Module 2 if needed.
Between Modules 2 and 3 participants will need to prepare:
- Read specific chapters of books on mediation theory that will be provided during Module 1 and prepare a short presentation, plus write a short answer to two specific questions related to the topics covered by the articles. Some of the books used for these presentations are: "Family Mediation" by Parkinson (2014), "Renegotiating Family Relationships" by Emery (2012) and "Conflict. From theory to action" by Lulofs & Cahn (2000).
After Module 3 participants will need to prepare:
- A Q&A assignment on specific topics covered during the course, to be submitted within a month of the end of the course. - A Memorandum of Understanding and Open Financial Statement based on one of the role plays, to be submitted within 14 days of the end of the course.
