Success Is a Journey Not a Destination

This past week in ISM I continued to work on my original work and completed my research paper combining both User-Experience Research trends and methods that I learned about through my research paper. My research paper analyzed the effectiveness of current User-Experience methods within each step of the Design Thinking process in terms of the effectiveness and relevance amid new design trends such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Visualization, and Voice Design. Throughout the course of the week, I worked towards completing my paper by including evidence from the various articles and the theory behind each method within each perspective. I created a schedule of the different perspectives that I wanted to get done during each time I worked on my original work and I continued to log my hours throughout the process. Within my original work, I also completed my original work summary and discussed the changes in terms of my original work proposal and my purpose for creating my research paper in terms of the skills I utilized and what I plan to contribute to the design community.

This past week I also schedule my mentor visit with Mr. John Keese and Ms. Lena Quach and in each visit, I intend to present my Original Work and discuss the expectations for visits going forward. I have utilized the skills of organization, time-management, focus, and effective communication and scheduling throughout the process of completing my Original Work and scheduling mentor visits.
