Today, I am writing a blog on What is the use of the Quick Mask in Adobe Photoshop? Explain with examples.
How The Quick Mask Tool Works?
Quick Mask tool works with a magnetic lasso quick selection tool Turns our selection red when using Quick Mask so we can see what parts of the photo are not selected.
Find Your Edges Easily
Sometimes when we select a corner of a photo. It is easy to work in the corner of the object which is clearly visible, it is difficult to work in the photo whose corner is not visible well, and it is difficult to work in the hair. And work is done easily in thick hair and it is fine and then hair in some places, but a quick mask is used so that applying the quick mask, converts the object to red color.
Pair with marching ants
When working with irregular corners, there are two tools that help us see the corners of the selection. One is called Marching Ants, it is a dotted line, it appears when we select a photo. he second is the quick mask, for some selections, we have to choose the marching ants, but with the magnetic lasso and the quick selection tool, the marching ants are used automatically.
Refining edges
When we use both the Marching ants and the Quick Mask at once, and then we use the Refine Edge tool to get the edges exactly where we want them if we zoom in on the photo. f you work in it by increasing it, then it works even better or it is visible clearly. This will pixelate the photo and we will not see the photo clearly. This is where Photoshop's tools or blending modes come in handy. Blending mode helps us in editing, and gives smooth and natural look to the selection as we want.
