I still remember when my father took me to the Johnson Space Center in Houston,TX. As I walked through the displays of the latest space achievements, listened to the detailed presentations, watched the breathtaking documentaries, and journeyed through the tour of NASA, I knew almost immediately that astrobiology was what I wanted to pursue in my life. Since that day, my passion for astrobiology has only gotten stronger.
Now I am a freshman at Texas A&M University in College Station, TX. I am currently majoring in biochemistry and minoring in geology. With that said, the next four years are going to be extremely busy but also really exciting.
Apart from academics, I have been playing the viola for six years and been singing Indian Carnatic Music for the past 13 years.
As you can tell, I am a very busy person but I also love to have fun. I love Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and Disney Movies) and love to read. I also love to cook and paint in my leisure time.
I know the road to astrobiology is going to be a hard one but I believe I can achieve my dream. I hope to gain important skills and insights to this field and change the world in a positive way.
