All of my life I have wondered why women need to cover up. Or why they can’t be shirtless when men can be. This is because of the societal norms that we have put in place. Women are over sexualized and made to think that they need to be modest and cover up their curves and the parts of their bodies that are sexualized. This is not okay. I wanted to make some art that can empower women to feel okay about their bodies and feel empowered. I designed these shirts because it's something that I am passionate about and I want to help other women. I have always wanted to push the boundary and use my art to not only open peoples minds but also disturb them in a good way. By saying “I have boobs” it's owning your femininity in a way that you can control. When you own it you have the power to take back your body and do what you want to do with it. We as women can not let society dictate how bodies are seen. We as women can decide what to wear and what to show off because it's our bodies. Do not let society over sexualize our bodies. We should have the same privileges that men have. If we don’t want to wear a top at a beach or a pool this should be okay. Instead of this being considered nudity it should be considered normal. Let’s as women take our power back.
